we invite you to take part in

XIII-th International Scientific and Practical Conference on the problems of developing effective practices of socio-psychological assistance to adolescents and their social environment

AN ADOLESCENT IN THE CITY: PANDEMIС POLYPHONY

April 6-8, 2021, Moscow

We invite experts from the fields of education, healthcare, social protection, representatives of public organizations and volunteer associations, psychologists and psychotherapists, and other interested participants, both researchers and practitioners in the field of adolescence, to participate.

The focus of this conference is to discuss the social and psychological consequences of the pandemic:

  • get an idea of the difficulties
    experienced by specialists in accompanying teenagers, families, and
    teachers;
  • analyze resources and practices that
    are effective for the self-isolation regime, restrictions, and
    situations of long-term uncertainty;
  • discuss the role of individual
    differences and development characteristics in these special
    circumstances;
  • analyze changes in the field of
    risky behavior and increased opportunities for social and
    psychological assistance to a person in modern social contexts
    caused by distance learning, self-isolation, and changes in society.

The conference is aimed at updating ideas about the features of modern youth, supporting an interdisciplinary approach to the study of the current situation of a teenager in a megalopolis, and expanding ideas about existing research results and opportunities to work with adolescents and young people in a situation of uncertainty and stress. The conference languages are Russian and English.

the psychological well-being of adolescents — protection factors,
changes in current problems and socio-psychological tools for helping
adolescents in the context of the pandemic

2. Discussion of health psychology,
prevention programs for risky behavior in the family and at school in
the context of distance learning and self-isolation

3. The Impact of self-isolation and
the pandemic on adolescent adulthood, changes in social norms,
adaptation, socialization, professional orientation, and tools for
social and psychological assistance

4. Digitalization, online transition,
digital socialization and gadgets – their role and features of
adolescent development in the context of the pandemic

5. Modern family in research and
psychotherapy, especially working with parents of adolescents and
young people

6. Problems of studying and
socio-psychological work with the problems of risky and aggressive
behavior of modern adolescents

7. Differences in the leisure sphere
of teenagers and families with teenagers, the problem of leisure in
the metropolis

8. Adolescent, teacher, psychologist
in the context of inequality in the educational system-social and
psychological support at school, University, new opportunities and
limitations

9. Volunteer activities, social and

Within the framework of the conference, a peer-reviewed thematic issue of the journal «Psychological Research» will be prepared under the title «Teenager in the metropolis: remote growing up». Acceptance of articles in the journal on the topic of the issue will be carried out until June 15, 2021, for all questions, please contact A. A. Bochaver (bochaver@gmail.com).

Registration Fees

The participation fee for the conference is 1500 rubles, which must be transferred when filling out the registration form. It is possible to complete a professional development program with a certificate «Methodology and technologies of socio-psychological support of adolescents in the conditions of growing up in a megalopolis» lasting 32 hours; the cost of participation in the program is 6000 rubles and is paid separately (Elena Suvorova, suvorova@universitas.ru).

Important dates

Deadline for accepting applications for presentations with reports and workshops and articles for publication is March 25, 2021.

After consideration of applications by the program committee, the organizers will contact you no later than April 2, 2021.

Deadline for attendance application is March 30, 2021.

The conference will be held at the MSSES at the address Moscow, Gazetny lane, 5-3 (Okhotny Ryad metro station) and will be accessed online.

Call for Papers

Requirements for the Paper

Please, when preparing an article, observe the following requirements.
The volume no more than 4 pages (12 size, spacing 1.5, alignment in width, Times New Roman font, margins 2 cm on all sides, indentation – 1.25). The title should be indicated in bold centered in capital letters; a line below, in the center — initials, last name (s) of the author (s), academic degree, academic rank; line below is the complete name of the organization. The following is an abstract (no more than 400 characters) and keywords (no more than 10) in Russian. Next, after 1 indent, the text of the abstract is given, without tables and figures. References to the literature are given in parentheses: (Ivanov, 2018). References should include no more than 5 sources.
The organizing committee reserves the right to reject articles for publication in case of non-compliance with the issues of the conference and the requirements for registration.

PUBLICATIONS

An electronic books with the papers will be published in the scientific electronic library eLIBRARY.RU and included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).

Requirements for the Workshop Description

Thedescription should include the name of the workshop, the name, middle name and surname of the presenter (or presenters), a description of the goals, the tools used and the expected results of the workshop, as well as the approach that the facilitators rely on. It is important to list required equipment for the workshop (the need for a projector, flip chart, blackboard, whatman paper, felt-tip pens, etc.) and restrictions on the number of participants, if any. The announcement should be no longer than 1 page (12 size, spacing 1.5, alignment in width, font Times New Roman, margins 2 cm on all sides, indention — 1.25).
